Terms & Conditions

The terms you agree to when you book with us. Written plainly, because you should be able to read them. If anything is unclear, ask Joy before you book.

Last updated 16 September 2026.

Who we are

Andaman Camp & Cruise is a local, family-run travel business based in Krabi, Thailand. Registered with the Tourism Authority of Thailand, licence 32/01382, with the appropriate insurance.

You can reach us at info@andamancampandcruise.com, on +66 855 373 191, or on WhatsApp. Our address is 55/2, Moo 3, Nong Thalae, Krabi 81000, Thailand.

These terms apply to everything you book with us: boat trips and island days, experiences run with our partners, private transfers, and bespoke itineraries planned for you. By sending a request or completing a payment you accept them.

What we arrange, and who runs it

Trips and island days. We plan and run these ourselves, using local boats, local captains and local guides. Depending on the day and the destination, the boat may be ours or belong to a captain we have worked with for years. Either way we are the people you deal with and the people responsible for arranging your day.

Experiences. Climbing, cooking classes, ATV rides, the spa, horse riding, the elephant sanctuary and similar activities are delivered by selected local partners. We arrange the booking and stay with you through it; the activity itself is run by that partner, under their own operating conditions, safety rules and insurance. Where a partner fulfils an experience we say so on the product page.

Transfers. Private transfers are run on our own vehicles with our own drivers. Our minivan is registered and fitted with a speed tracker and GPS linked to the Department of Transport.

Bespoke itineraries. A bespoke enquiry is a plan we build with you. Each element within it is then booked under the relevant part of these terms.

Requests, bookings and when you are confirmed

Not everything on this site is paid for on the spot, and the page tells you which kind you are looking at before you fill anything in.

A request for availability is not a booking and takes no money. You send your dates and numbers, we check availability — with the captain, the guide or the partner as appropriate — and come back to you with the price for your day. Nothing is charged at this point and you are free to walk away.

A booking you pay for immediately shows you the exact amount before you reach the payment screen. Payment is taken by card on that screen and not before.

A booking is confirmed when we have told you it is confirmed — in writing, by email or WhatsApp — and the payment due at that stage has been received. For a trip that is the agreed deposit; for a transfer or an experience paid in full, it is the full amount. An automatic email acknowledging a request is not a confirmation.

Prices and payment

Deposits on trips. Trips are quoted for your dates, your numbers and your itinerary. When you accept the quote, Joy agrees the deposit with you and sends a secure link to pay it by card. The trip is booked once the deposit is paid, and the balance is settled as agreed with her.

Payment in full. Transfers, and experiences that are payable at the time of booking, are paid in full when you book. The total is shown to you before you are taken to payment.

How payment is taken. Card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your card number — it goes directly to Stripe, who are responsible for handling it securely. For a quote agreed by message, we send you a payment link that opens the same secure Stripe payment page; we will never ask you to send card details by email, WhatsApp or over the phone.

Currency. Prices are in Thai baht (THB) unless stated otherwise. Your bank or card issuer may apply its own conversion rate or fees, which are outside our control.

National Park fees. Several destinations sit inside national parks, which charge their own entrance fee. These fees are set by the park authority, are not included in our prices, and are paid directly to the park ranger on the day. Where we know the current adult amount we show it on the trip page. The authority can change these fees without notice.

What you need to tell us, and get right

We book your day on the details you give us, so please check them. You are responsible for the accuracy of the names of everyone travelling, your dates, the number of adults and children and the ages of any children, your hotel and room, your pickup point, your flight number where relevant, and the email address and phone number we reach you on.

If something is wrong — a misspelled name, a hotel you have since changed, a phone number that is not on WhatsApp — tell us as soon as you can and we will fix it. Costs caused by details that were wrong when you gave them to us, such as a driver sent to the wrong hotel, are not something we can absorb.

Accessibility, dietary needs and medical information. Please tell us about mobility needs, allergies, dietary requirements, pregnancy, and any medical condition that could matter on the water or on an activity. We pass on only what the captain, guide or partner needs in order to look after you safely. Some activities have age, weight, health or swimming requirements set by the operator; if we cannot safely accommodate a requirement we will say so before you pay, and if it only becomes clear on the day the operator’s decision is final.

Weather and safety

Regulated by the Marine Department. We will never take guests out if conditions are considered unsafe; the captain makes the final call.

The captain’s decision about whether it is safe to depart, and for which destination, is final and is not negotiable. Rain or grey skies alone are not a reason to cancel; dangerous conditions are. What happens to your money when weather stops a trip is set out in our cancellation policy.

On the day, please follow the instructions of the captain, guide or partner staff. We may end an activity early, without a refund, if someone’s behaviour puts themselves or others at risk.

Changes and cancellations

If you cancel. Our cancellation policy sets out what happens to your deposit or payment, and it forms part of these terms.

If you want to change something. Tell us as early as you can. Changes of date, numbers or itinerary are subject to availability and, for an experience, to the partner’s own conditions. If a change alters the price we tell you the new figure and agree it with you before anything is charged or refunded.

If we have to change something. Occasionally a destination becomes unavailable — a park closure, a change in access rules, weather, or a boat out of service. We will offer you the nearest equivalent, another date within your stay, or a refund, as set out in the cancellation policy.

Refunds. Refunds are made to the card or account the payment came from, and we start them as soon as the outcome is agreed. How long the money takes to appear is up to your bank or card issuer. Where a refund is due on part of a booking, the rest of the booking stands.

Experiences run by our partners

When a partner runs an activity, their own terms apply to the activity itself — including their safety rules, minimum ages, weight and health limits, group sizes, what is and is not included, and what happens if they have to cancel. We tell you on the product page when a partner is involved, and we will always tell you their conditions before you pay if you ask.

Our responsibility is to arrange the booking accurately, pass on what you have told us, and put it right with the partner if something goes wrong. We are not able to accept responsibility for a partner’s own conduct or equipment.

This website

We try hard to keep prices, timings, inclusions and photographs accurate and current. Even so, a price or a detail can be out of date, and an obvious error — a figure with a digit missing, say — does not oblige us to honour it. Where that happens we will tell you the correct price before you pay, and you are free to cancel at no cost.

Prices shown as a guide, an estimate, or “on enquiry” are exactly that: they are not an offer, and the price for your day is the one Joy confirms to you.

The text and photographs on this site belong to us or are used with permission. Please do not republish them without asking.

If something goes wrong

Tell us, as soon as you can, and ideally while you are still in Krabi — most things can be put right on the spot. Message Joy on WhatsApp or email info@andamancampandcruise.com and you will reach the family directly, not a call centre.

Our services are provided in Thailand, and are subject to the rules of the Thai authorities that license and regulate them, including the Tourism Authority of Thailand and the Marine Department.
