Boossabakorn is a proper spa a few minutes from the beach road — stone basins, brass, a courtyard garden. Three two-hour packages were put together for our guests. Krabi Holiday Retreat is the all-rounder: an hour of aromatherapy massage, a hydrating facial mask and a foot massage. Krabi Sun Recovery is for the day after the islands: a ninety-minute cooling Sun Soother massage and an aloe vera facial mask. The Authentic Thai Head Spa Ritual is the one to try if you have never had a Thai head spa: ninety minutes with the signature Waterfall Ritual, then a foot massage. Every package comes with a signature welcome drink, a Thai rice snack and mango sticky rice. Or choose from the full menu — Thai, aroma and deep-tissue massage, the Nidra head spa rituals, facials and the deluxe rituals with scrub and jacuzzi — at the spa’s own prices. A complimentary shuttle within Ao Nang can be arranged for any booking, subject to availability.
